Student Welcome
We are offering an original Main Programme of either free or heavily subsidised events, as well as signposting to a selection of events by our range of partners across the Liverpool City Region's six amazing boroughs. Explore the website to find out more about the Region's cultural offerings.
The International Student Welcome (ISW) is a programme run by the International Strategy & Delivery Group (ISDG) as part of the work of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the British Council to welcome students from around the world to our vibrant City Region.
About The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority & The ISDG
The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA), in partnership with the British Council, has brought together the International Strategy & Delivery Group (ISDG) which includes representatives from the cultural sector across Liverpool City Region.
The ISDG seeks to embed an international outlook across the City Region’s social, educational and cultural organisations and develop globally-minded young people.
Part of our remit is to deliver the International Student Welcome which is taking place for the first time from the 16th August - 31st October 2021.
